A 39-year old man from Munxar sustained serious injuries after losing control of the motorbike he was riding.
Police said that the accident took place at around 12.30pm in Sannat Road, Sannat.
A medical team was called to the scene and and the man was taken to the Gozo General Hospital, where he was later certified as suffering from serious injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
