Update Monday morning: Jimmy’s owners have given the really good news that he was found safe and well this morning at Dwejra.

He was recognised by a dog walker there and contacted the owners immediately.

This much-loved family pet went missing on Saturday from Fontana and there had been possible sightings of him on the road to Munxar and then later near Mgarr ix-Xini.

Jimmy’s owners had been searching for him day and night since then, but at long last he is home.
