Four people have been hospitalised after being involved in a fight in Marsalforn on Sunday morning.

Police said that an argument broke out in Triq il-Port at around 7.30am between a 25-year old Polish woman, a 29-year-old Polish man and two Syrian men aged 23 and 26.

A medical team were called to the scene and all four people were taken to the Gozo General Hospital for further treatment.

The 23-year old Syrian suffered grievous injuries, while the other 3 persons involved sustained slight injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
