For the second consecutive day 570 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded on the Public Health Department open source database. There were no new deaths registered.

Active cases in Malta and Gozo are now up to 5,958. This brings the total number of cases in the Maltese Islands since the start of the pandemic to 102,593.

No information is available for the number in hospital. There have been a total of 740 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

There were 1,876 tests taken over the same period, making a positivity rate of 30.38%. Tests carried out at home are not included in the figures.
