583 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded on the Public Health Department open source database in the last 24 hours. There were also 3 new deaths registered.

Active cases in Malta and Gozo are now up to 6,967. This brings the total number of cases in the Maltese Islands since the start of the pandemic to 104,419.

No information is available for the number in hospital. There have been a total of 747 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

There were 1,985 tests taken over the same period, making a positivity rate of 29.37%. Tests carried out at home are not included in the figures.
