Those travelling to Malta who have not had a vaccination against Covid-19 will no longer be required to present a negative PCR or rapid test from next week.
The Health Ministry said on Monday that the new ruling will come into effect from the 25th of July, and is based on recommendations made at European Union level.
Previously passengers who were not in possession of a vaccine certificate or recovery certificate had to present a negative PCR or rapid test to enter the country.
