There were 21 new Covid-19 cases recorded on the Public Health Response Team official open source database in the last 24-hours.

1 new death was also registered, the first since the 26th of August. There have been a total of 802 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

Active cases in Malta and Gozo are now down to at 105. This brings the total number of cases in the Maltese Islands since the start of the pandemic to 114,135.

No information is available for the number of Covid positive patients in hospital.

There were 639 tests taken over the last 24 hours making a positivity rate of 3.29%.

The Health Department said that tests carried out at home are not included in the figures.
