The programme has now been announced for this weekend’s 15th edition of the Qala International Folk Festival.

The Festival’s intercultural programme continues to attract locals and visitors alike to the heart of this beautiful village to see the square transformed into a hub of folk activities, giving an insight into the island’s cultural history, with music, dance, traditional food and colourful costumes.

A firm favourite on the Gozo cultural calendar, the Festival opens this Friday, the 16th and closes on Sunday, the 18th of September.

The Festival is organised by the Qala Local Council and the Qala Menhir Folk Group, in collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Directorate within the Ministry for Gozo.To keep up to date with information on events please follow Qala Local Council’s facebook page.
