Next weekend is the 8th edition of OASI’s Annual Cup Run and Fun Walk, organised by the OASI Foundation of Gozo.

This year it will be held on Sunday, the 2nd of October and promises stunning scenery around this beautiful island.

The OASI Foundation said that it “strongly believes that sports is scientifically proven to be a healthy way to improve mental health, to relax, to improve self-confidence and socialise. This, in turn, enhances the probability of keeping substance use at bay, while also promoting addiction recovery.”

The 10K professional race is a fast route, there is time keeping and on site photographer,

There will be trophies and medals for participants.

Prices and information as follows:

10K Run €15 starts at 8:15am

4.5K Fun Walk €8 starts at 8:30am

Children’s Runs €6 start at different times :

4-7 years at 9:35am

8-11 years at 9:45am

12-15 years at 9:55am.
