There were 17 new Covid-19 cases recorded on the Public Health Response Team official open source database in the last 24-hours.

There was 1 new death registered. The total number of deaths registered from the start of the pandemic is 808.

Active cases in Malta and Gozo now stands at 353. This brings the number of cases in the Maltese Islands since the start of the pandemic to 115,176.

There were 486 tests taken over the last 24 hours making a positivity rate of 3.50%.

The Health Department said that tests carried out at home are not included in the figures.
