Blood donation Tuesday at the Xewkija Clinic, GozoThe National Blood Transfusion Service has expressed its thanks to the 39 people who called to donate blood last Sunday at the Xewkija Clinic in Gozo.

Meanwhile, the Service is encouraging more Gozitans to please go along and donate blood, as a Christmas gift and help to the many patients, including babies, who are currently hospitalised in Gozo and Malta.

The next session will be on Tuesday, the 13th of December – a National Holiday – from 8am to 1pm at the Xewkija Clinic (please note the change of time). This will be followed by another on Sunday, the 18th of of December from 8am until 1pm.

“As always, your cooperation and generosity are greatly appreciated and please encourage others to donate if possible,” the Service said.

The centre is located at the Xewkija Clinic, in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.

Important notes from the National Blood Transfusion Service

The Service reminds everyone that it is very important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.

As usual, please wear a mask when attending the clinic.
