The Nationalist Party has said that all PN Members of Parliament will “vote against the introduction of abortion in our country in today’s voting on the Bill.”
The PN in that statement said that, “in a session that starts today at around 1pm, Parliament will start voting on the Bill through which Robert Abela wants to introduce abortion in our country.”
The discussion on this Bill is at Second Reading stage and the Parliament will be voting on the Bill as presented by the Government.
The Nationalist Party explained that after this stage, it will be time for the only clause in this Bill to be discussed by the Committee on Bills, in a meeting that will be called by the Government later on.
“All MPs of the Nationalist Party are united in a single and strong message against the introduction of abortion in our country and they participated actively and consistently in the discussion in Parliament,” the statement read.
