Earlier this year MaltaPost joined members of the Euromed Postal Joint Stamp Project in the issue of a set of two miniature sheets bearing a common theme – Mediterranean Festivals.

These two miniature sheets are currently participating in an online contest allowing the community to vote for the most beautiful Euromed stamp. To place your vote please click here.

The issue consisted of 12,000 miniature sheets with stamp denominations of €1.70 and €2.50.

MaltaPost launched the new philatelic issue in July, consisting of two stamps, both related to fireworks activity in the Grand Harbour at Valletta during the International Fireworks Festival.

The Malta Tourism Authority provided the photographs, which were taken by Sebio Aquilina and Michele Agius.
