Transport Malta said that on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, all routes will operate on the Sunday schedule.
The bus service will be suspended between 12:00 noon and 3.00pm so that staff can celebrate with their families.
The service will depart from localities before the break between 11am and 11.30am, and will then resume between 3pm and 4pm according to the respective schedules.
The final bus service trips on both days will be between 8 and 8,30pm, depending on the length of the trip.
There will be a reduced bus schedule operated in Gozo and Malta between Boxing Day, the 26th of December and the 8th of January.
Malta Public Transport ticket booths and the Call Centre will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
