Police have issued a warning about scam emails which are currently being sent out mimicking the Police. “If you receive them proceed to ignore and delete.”

In a statement, the Police said that emails purport to be in connection with investigations or court cases, including that the recipient of the email is being investigated on child pornography.

These scam emails request the recipient to contact the Police on a fake electronic address, such as policija1a@gmail.com

The Police reiterated that these are scam emails and should be deleted immediately.
