Blood donation session at the Xewkija Clinic, GozoThe National Blood Transfusion Service has expressed its thanks to the 37 people who called to donate blood last Tuesday at the Xewkija Clinic in Gozo.

Meanwhile, the Service, while wishing everyone a Happy New Year, continues to encourage more Gozitans to please go along and donate blood and help to the many patients who are currently hospitalised in Gozo and Malta.

The next session will be on Tuesday, the 10th of January from 1pm to 5pm at the Xewkija Clinic. This will be followed by another on Sunday, the 15th of January, from 8am until 1pm.

“While we appreciate your cooperation and generosity we take the opportunity to once again wish you a Happy New Year,” the Service said.

The centre is located at the Xewkija Clinic, in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.

Important notes from the National Blood Transfusion Service

The Service reminds everyone that it is very important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.

As usual, please wear a mask when attending the clinic.
