A reminder that starting from Monday there will be a change to the domestic waste collection schedule.

This new national schedule means that the days and which bags are to be collected will be the same for all of Malta and Gozo.

Therefore, the new schedule is as follows:

Monday – Organic waste only (white bag)

Tuesday – Mixed waste (black bag)

Wednesday – Organic waste only (white bag)

Thursday – Recycled Waste (grey or green bag)

Friday – Organic waste only (white bag)

Saturday – Mixed Waste (black bag)

The collection of glass bottles will be done every first Friday of the month, and the third Friday of the month.

More information about the time of discharge and collection of waste is given to residents by the respective Local Councils and Regions.
