There were 30 new Covid-19 cases recorded on the Public Health Response Team official open source database in the last 24-hours.

Two new deaths were also registered, which makes 4 in the past 3 days. The total number of deaths from the start of the pandemic is 817.

Active cases in Malta and Gozo now stands at 299. This brings the number of cases in the Maltese Islands since the start of the pandemic to 116,414.

There were 293 tests taken over the last 24 hours making a positivity rate of 10.24%.

The Health Department said that tests carried out at home are not included in the figures.
