The Malta Red Cross Gozo Branch and the Marsalforn Catholic Community, with the help of Fr Michael Borg, are organising a Blood Drive, which is to be held at the Calypso Hotel in Marsalforn. The Blood Drive will take place on Sunday, the 30th of August, from 9.00am till 4.30pm.

Although the aim of this event is to collect as much blood as possible, helping persons who need it, it is also an opportunity for anyone who has not donated blood before to do so for the first time, showing solidarity with those who need it.

The unit will be set up in an air-conditioned room in the hotel. There will be free refreshments available for those who donate blood.

Blood donors are asked to have their ID card with them when they attend. A Red Cross blood donation memento will be given to each participant.
