Soloists from Gozo’s Gaulitanus Choir will be performing a lunchtime concert in the run-up to St Valentine’s Day.
The choir’s soprano soloists Anna Bonello, Stephanie Portelli and Annabelle Haber will team up with violinist Pierre Louis Attard to present a lunchtime concert with a difference. Gaulitanus’ musical director and the concert’s artistic director Colin Attard will accompany.
The repertoire will consist of an eclectic variety of love-related pieces, whether operatic, salon or chamber excerpts or numbers from musicals.
To add spice to the event – which should cater for everyone’s tastes – choir member Joanna Pullicino will also be reciting a few literary excerpts.
The concert is being held at the Ministry for Gozo’s Hall, Victoria, Gozo on Saturday, the 11th of February, starting at 11:30am. Entrance is free.
