A 44-year old Albanian man living in Nadur has been hospitalised after being hit by a concrete pump at a construction site.

Police said that the accident happened at around 11.30am in Triq it-Tlettax ta’ Dicembru, Kercem, Gozo.

A medical team assisted the man at the scene before he was taken to the Gozo General Hospital, where he was later certified to have sustained grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
