The Gozo Regional Committee (GRC) met recently to discuss the integration of foreign workers and work in Gozo.
Prof. JosAnn Cutajar presented an informative study on migration and social well-being, which was funded by the Gozo Regional Development Authority (GRDA) and the Malta Trust Foundation.
H.E. President Emeritus Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca shared her valuable insights with the committee, and Fr. Giovanni Curmi and Fr. Michael Borg presented their perspectives on migrants in Gozo on behalf of Caritas and the Diocese of Gozo.
The GRC’s suggestions will be presented to The Malta Council for Economic and Social Development (MCESD) for further discussion together with other social partners.
