14 people have been taken to the Gozo General Hospital following a major traffic accident in Triq Ta’ Xhajmu, Nadur.
According to reports, the accident happened at around 3pm on Tuesday afternoon, when there was a collision between a car and a bus carrying passengers. The condition of the people taken to hospital is not yet known.
Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri went to the scene and expressed his thanks to the members of the Civil Protection, Transport Malta, who were also at the scene and medical staff from the Gozo General Hospital for their immediate assistance.
Health Minister Dr Chris Fearne, in a tweet, gave his “heartfelt thanks to the professional medical, nursing and, allied staff at Gozo General Hospital for their prompt and efficient care to multiple injuries following a major traffic accident.”

Today we were very lucky . My wife and I were in the bus and we are really happy that all passengers more or less healthy.
We are from Austria/ Vienna and we say thank you to all medical people the Performance was GREAT !!!
