Man in custody in connection with shooting of two dogs in Sannat

A 51-year old man is Police custody in connection with the killing of two fox terrier dogs in Sannat, Gozo, early on Monday evening.
Police said in a statement that they were called to the scene in Triq l-Ghaxra ta’ Ottubru, 1942 at around 6pm.
The two dead fox terrier dogs were found with gunshots wounds.
The dogs were removed from the scene by Animal Welfare officers.
The 51-year-old man is being held by the Police in order to assist in the Police investigations.
Duty Magistrate Dr. Simone Grech has launched an inquiry.
