A 29-year old woman has appeared in the Gozo Court and sentenced to 6 months imprisonment and fined €6,000 after she assaulted and slightly injured a Police Officer as well as breaching public peace at Zebbug, Gozo.
Police said that she was also accused of assaulting the Police whilst detained at the Victoria Police Station and recidivism.
The accused pleaded guilty to all charges brought against her.
