Blue Badge applications can now be made online through a form that also accepts payment and the necessary documents needed to submit in order to process the application, the Inclusion Ministry has said.

More than 1,800 applications for the Blue Badge have been received by Agenzija Sapport since January 2023, with more than 1,270 Blue Badges issued by the Agency since the beginning of the year.

This service has been operated by Agenzija Sapport since March 2022 with more than 5,600 applications received.

The Blue Badge is a legal document which permits the driver to park the vehicle in parking places that are reserved for people with disabilities.

The Blue Badge application is available from www.sapport.gov.mt or from the offices of Agenzija Sapport (Malta and Gozo).
