March’s registered full-time employment up by 8.4%

March’s registered full-time employment increased by 8.4% over the same period last year, reaching 267,970, the National Statistics Office said today.
The administrative data provided by Jobsplus show that part-time as a primary job amounted to 33,227, an increase of 3.6% when compared to the same period in 2022.
Private sector full-time employment went up by 10.7% over a period of one year reaching 216,982.
Public sector full-time employment decreased by 0.2% since March lat year, totalling 50,988.
Full-time employment for males went up by 8.9% amounting to 162,762 over 2022 levels, while females increased by 7.7% reaching 105,208
