The Sliema Residents’ Association, which is supported by eNGO Flimkien ghal Ambjent Ahjar, is holding a protest meeting on Tuesday evening.
The SRA protest will be voicing residents’ anger about the “state of Sliema.” This first protest is to focus on problems related to the filth that surrounds them, such as garbage, litter, rats and pigeon droppings, as well as e-scooters blocking pavements, impeding users of wheelchairs and strollers.
The protest is to be held at 7pm on Tuesday evening, at Fond Ghadir, Tower Road Sliema, near the ‘Shadows’ monument/Gabbana kiosk. All are invited to attend in support of what is also fast becoming a national problem.
