The flu vaccination schedule and the Covid-19 booster will start as from Monday, the 9th of October.
Health Minister Chris Fearne explained that the vaccination offered, both for influenza and for Covid-19, is suitable for the variant of the virus that will be prevalent this winter.
During the first week of the vaccination programme over 55s, people suffering from chronic conditions, pregnant women, people living in homes and workers in the health sector will be eligible to be vaccinated.
The programme continues from the 16th of October for the entire population from Health Centres, without the need for an appointment and from community clinics according to the schedules published on health sites social media.
