A group of volunteers, including children between 5 and 15 years of age, who held an activity at the Mgarr Terminal on the 8th of September, on Victory Day, collected €1,452 in aid of Puttinu Cares, the organisation that help and support children with cancer.

This amount was gathered by the selling of books and gifts at the terminal, as well as from a lottery at the marshalling area, which had three prizes: an acer netbook offered to us by DIX Computers of Birkirkara and two vouchers for a lunch/dinner for two at the Grand Hotel in Mgarr and Cornucopia Hotel in Xaghra.

This activity wouldn’t have been possible without the help and support of the Gozo Channel, DIX Computers, Grand Hotel and Cornucopia Hotel.
