The JP2 Foundation is holding a Penitential Service during this Lent period in order to commemorate the 14th anniversary of the death of Pope Saint John Paul II which took place on the 2nd April 2006.
The Foundation said that the event will take place as preparation before the seven days prior the commemoration of Our Lady of Sorrows.
The evening will host reading of lent poems by Chev Joe M. Attard who will be accompanied on the piano by Mro Stephen Attard. Rev Joe Caruana OFM will forward a spiritual message on the occasion.
The service will take place at St. James Church in Independence Square, Victoria, Gozo next Tuesday, the 2nd of April, starting at 7.30pm ending at 8.30pm
The general public is invited to attend.
