The annual Pawlu Mizzi Memorial Lecture is taking place next month at Il-Hagar Museum in Gozo.
Professor Dominic Fenech will be discussing Self-Government in Malta, looking at the 1921 – 1933 period.
This specialist in Maltese political history will obviously be also referring to his recent publication about the subject, described as an “accessible book by one of our leading historians that focuses on the seminal years of responsible government, and on the events, protagonists and social currents that defined them.” Signed copies will be available.
This lecture will be held on Saturday, the 4th of November at 11am. Admission is free of charge, but seat reservations are recommended to events@heartofgozo.org.mt.
The museum is located in St George’s Square, Victoria.
