There are 154 police officers who live in Gozo that are currently stationed in Malta, Home Affairs Minister Byron Camilleri has said.

The Minister was replying to a Parlialmentary Question from the Opposition Spokesperson for Gozo Alex Borg.

The Minister in his reply said that there are 154 police officers who are registered at an address on Gozo who are assigned to various branches of the Corps, including specialised ones.

He added that he was also informed that the per capita rate of police in the district and community police in Gozo “is higher than that of Malta.”
