This year’s Children’s Dreams initiative has been launched which aims to create some magic for children by fulfilling their wish with a gift at Christmas time.

December is only a few weeks away and with it comes all the joys of Christmas. For many children, Christmas means decorative lights in the windows, gifts under the tree, parties and spending time with family and friends.

Unfortunately, not all children will experience this during the festive season due to their various social problems, others who are currently living in care.

There are 1780 Children’s Dreams to be fulfilled for children in Malta and Gozo who may be living either with their families or in residences that fall under the management of the Foundation for Social Welfare Services (FSWS).

The public and other entities can access these wishes by clicking here in order to make these wishes come true.

Once the gift has been received it will be delivered directly to the children in time for Christmas Day by the Foundation’s workers.

Children’s dreams vary, from a toy to tickets to see their favourite movie at the cinema; and even a course in a particular discipline or trade.

Minister for Social Policy and Children’s Rights, Michael Falzon, together with the leadership of the FSWS, have repeated their appeal to help hundreds of children with small gestures, but which for them are important and of great value.
