Nationalist Party Spokesperson for Gozo has claimed that “Gozitan people to not feel safe or at peace on their own island.”

Alex Borg, speaking about the situation in Gozo said that, “with the uncontrolled increase in the population on this island, security is being noted as threatened.”

Borg argued that, “even in Gozo, the resources in the Police Corp, instead of increasing, have ended up being further eroded.”

Alex Borg stated that “the Nationalist Party recognises that Gozo has different needs and thus, it is necessary to be given different resources than those of Malta. Instead, the Government reduced the funds by 10%.”
