Part of the work of the Diaconia Office of the Diocese of Gozo is to sensitise the Christian community in favour of institutions that work with vulnerable people or depend heavily on donations for their work.

The Diocese of Gozo explained that in addition, the same Office sees that when there are international emergencies, as in the case of natural disasters, the Christian community responds generously to the help that is being requested.

During the year 2023, the Diocese of Gozo collected and distributed €318,218.29 in aid to local and international institutions, thanks to the generosity of the Gozo people.
