KM Malta Airlines has announced the expansion of its European network with the introduction of a new direct service between Malta and Bordeaux, France, starting on the 1st of April 2027.

The airline said that the new route will operate twice weekly, every Monday and Thursday, providing passengers travelling from Malta with a direct connection to Bordeaux and the wider Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of southwestern France.

Flights will be operated by KM Malta Airlines’ Airbus A320neo aircraft, part of the airline’s modern and young fleet. The airline said that ”the A320neo offers a lower noise footprint compared with previous-generation aircraft, as well as improved fuel efficiency.”

The airline said that flights will be available to book through the KM Malta Airlines website and mobile app, as well as through travel agents and other authorised sales channels.
