To mark the 34th anniversary of Pope Saint John Paul II’s visit to Gozo in 1990, the JP2 Foundation is organising a concert with Gozitan Soprano Ruth Portelli, who will be accompanied on the piano by Dr Dorielle Bigeni.

The recital will take place at St Joseph Parish Church, Qala, on Saturday, the 8th of June, starting at 8.00pm. During the recital Ruth Portelli will be singing a variety of songs from her repertoire.

The JP2 Foundation said that this event is taking place with the full collaboration with the Qala Local Council.

Everyone is warmly invited to attend.
