The public is invited to join in a beach clean- up event at Ramla Bay, Gozo, tomorrow, Wednesday, the 5th of June from 8:30am to 10:30am.
This beach clean-up is taking place with the collaboration of Nature Trust – FEE – Malta and its Wildlife Rescue Team.
They said that, ”by removing plastic, debris, and other waste from Ramla Bay, we can protect our marine environment and wildlife.”
This event is part of the European Climate Pact, a movement uniting people across Europe to build a more sustainable future.
The European Climate Pact is an initiative by the European Commission that empowers individuals, organisations, and communities to take action against climate change.
As part of the European Green Deal, the Pact aims to achieve a climate-neutral Europe by 2050. Everyone can participate, whether you’re new to climate action or already making a difference.
NTM urged the public to help them keep Gozo’s beautiful beaches clean and contribute to a more sustainable future. ”We look forward to seeing you there.”
Nature Trust – FEE – Malta is a non-profit environmental organisation dedicated to conserving Malta’s natural heritage. They are the national operator of the FEE Eco-Schools Programme and implement various environmental initiatives.
