Earlier today, the Inter Gozo Supporters’ Club, in commemoration of the club winning the 2023-24 Championship, organised a blood drive for its members at the Xewkija Community Clinic.

It was led by the President of the Club Joe Bajada, who said that it was very appropriate that after the great satisfaction of Inter Milan’s second star winning the 20th Scudetto in their history, the Gozo Supporters Club wanted to so something in return and help someone in need – we have done this by donating blood.”

Bajada said that ”it is so easy to become someone’s hero and this noble gesture aligns well with the Inter Supporters Club Gozo (Malta) motto – A small club, but with a big heart.”

While he thanked those who donated blood, he called for more supporters to follow this example of humanity and sympathy for others, ”because what we receive in our lives is measured by how much we are willing to give.”

”Donating a pint of blood can save three lives; one gesture can create a million smiles,” he said.
