According to latest data from the National Statistics Office, registered full-time employment totalled 285,516 in February, an increase of 6.8% over February 2023.

Part-time as a primary job amounted to 33,868, an increase of 4.7% when compared to the same period in 2023.

Private sector full-time employment went up by 8.0% over a period of one year reaching 233,504.

Public sector full-time employment increased by 1.8% since February 2023 totalling 52,012.

As compared to February 2023, full-time employment for males went up by 6.9% amounting to 173,427, while that for females increased by 6.6% reaching 112,089.
