The MRU said the first property in North West of Malta was confirmed to have 28 finches stored in a dark space and confiscated by the Wild Birds Regulation Unit and Police.
The second case in Central Malta was confirmed to have 52 finches illegally kept in a dark garage space of the offender. “All birds were confiscated. Legal charges and Court actions are anticipated in due course,” the MRU said.
