The Nationalist Party in a statement on Monday, thanked teachers and educators as they return to schools today to begin another academic year, “which brings with it new opportunities for every boy and girl.”
The PN said that for all children to progress and achieve their goals, schools, teachers, and educators need not only support and encouragement but also the necessary tools to succeed.
“The profession should be increasingly respected, as schools shape every boy and girl and therefore carry the burden of educational development on their shoulders, despite the difficulties they may continually face,” said the PN.
The Nationalist Party affirmed that it will “continue working from the Opposition in favour of school administrators, teachers, and educators at every level in State, Church, and Private schools, to continue shaping policies that support equal and fair education, helping children and young people develop themselves throughout their learning journey.”
The PN concluded by saying that “the focus should be on preventive, inclusive, creative, and digital education.”
The statement was signed by Justin Schembri Shadow Minister for Education.
