Archbishop withdraws from Remembrance Sunday engagements after suffering “minor head injury”

Archbishop Charles Scicluna has had to withdraw from scheduled engagements for Remembrance Sunday after he suffered a “minor head injury.”
The Archbishop, said on X that, “I deeply regret that I cannot honour my commitments today 10/11 for Remembrance Sunday and other events after a freak accident last night during which I suffered a minor head injury.”
He added that, “I’m grateful to medical staff at St James Hospital who attended to me and advised me to rest.”
The Archdiocese of Malta said, “we wish Archbishop Charles Scicluna a speedy recovery. We pray that he will be back among us soon.”
