The housing market activity in Gozo was still slow in October, registering the second lowest number of final deeds of sale out of all the districts, the National Statistics Office said today.

Data released today by the National Statistics Office today show that 131 final deeds of sale on residential property were registered in Gozo during October, this was up by 18 on September, but down by 22 on October 2023.

In the cluster of localities made up of Fontana, Gharb, Ghasri, Kercem, Munxar, Victoria, San Lawrenz, Sannat and Zebbug, there were 54 final deeds of sale, this was down by 3 on September, and by 25 on October 2023.

While in the cluster of localities of Ghajnsielem and Comino, Nadur, Qala, Xaghra and Xewkija there were 77, this was up by 21 on September and by 3 on October 2023.

Promise of sale agreements in the Gozo and Comino District were also the second lowest out of all districts at 151, up by 26 agreements on September, but down by 17 on October 2023.

In the cluster of localities made up of Fontana, Gharb, Ghasri, Kercem, Munxar, Victoria, San Lawrenz, Sannat and Zebbug, the promise of sale agreements totalled 64, down by 4 from September, and by 14 on the same month in 2023.

While in the cluster of localities of Ghajnsielem and Comino, Nadur, Qala, Xaghra and Xewkija, the figure was 87, up by 30 on September, but down by 3 on October 2023.
