Certificates presented to CLAS students at the Gozo Campus

Certificates were presented durign an event at the University of Malta’s Gozo Campus to celebrate 34 students who successfully completed their studies in five stand-alone study-units offered by the Centre for the Liberal Arts and Sciences at the Gozo Campus.
These study-units, which were offered for the first time at the Gozo Campus during academic year 2023/24 were:
LAS1010 Beekeeping and the Art of Honey Making
LAS1082 The Art of Maltese Bobbin Lace I
LAS1085 Appreciating Antiques: An Introduction to Art & Antique Collecting in Malta and Gozo
LAS2050 The Art of Maltese Bobbin Lace 2
LAS2074 Maltese Bobbin Lace – An Advanced Approach
The University of Malta explained that “this is the result of a collaborative agreement between the Centre for Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) and the management at the University’s Gozo Campus.”
During the ceremony certificates were presented to the students by Prof. Philip von Brockdorff, Rector’s Delegate for Gozo, and Prof. David Mifsud, Director CLAS.
