Gharb Local Council said that the Malta Records jury has just announced a new national record, surpassing last year’s achievement. This marks the 2nd edition of the largest Christmas tree on the Maltese Islands.

The impressive structure stands at 8 metres high, 9.10 metres wide, and 5.45 metres deep, featuring an incredible choir of 91 members.

Malta Records congratulated the Gharb Local Council, the Gozo Community, Youth and the children choir of Gharb for officially kicking off the Christmas celebrations in the village on Friday.

“Their efforts brought joy to all present and added another record to the charming village of G?arb.”
