Update – Gozo channel has advised that its ferry services are currently back to operating the normal route

The forecast is for winds to reach up to force 7 today – Saturday.

The Met Office has issued a yellow – be aware warning that the Northwest wind will be strong, at times locally very strong over the exposed ares of the Maltese Islands. The warning is valid until 9pm this evening and may be renewed the Met Office said.
