Due to the current bad weather conditions with strong winds, Gozo Channel has advised that ferry operations are being diverted to and from the South Quay, Cirkewwa.

Some delays can be expected.

The Malta Met Office has updated its “Be Prepared” (orange) warning as follows: The East Southeast wind will be very strong over the Maltese Islands, reaching gale force over the exposed areas. Warning valid till one o’clock in the afternoon (17/1300) and will be renewed accordingly
