Police advised the public to:

Check the Sender: Legitimate messages will not come from a suspicious number Always verify through official channel

Look for Odd Links: Do not click on any links from unsolicited SMS. Scammers often use fake sites to steal your personal information.

Confirm Independently: Contact the service directly using contact information from their official website if you’re expecting a package and receive such messages.
